    My, hasn’t time flown by. The year that was 2007… let’s see… there’s teaching at Ben 2 with it’s recalcitrant teenagers,

    Teaching tinsy-whinsy primary students in rural Thailand,

    Teaching newbie English teachers on Koh Samui,

    Back to Oz for a whirlwind visit,

     
    And back to China and university age students.

    That’s a big year!

  • Getting to Ko Samui

    There are roughly 3 ways to get there:-

    Flying to Samui itself was roughly 3500 Baht one-way from Bangkok (quite expensive - as Bangkok Air has a monopoly)
    Flying to Surat Thani - and catching the ferry across
    Bus or train all inclusive of ferry price (the bus/train alone can take 12-14 hours!)
